Did the Untouched Romania Tour and had an amazing time and worth the experience. The activities were fun and I felt like I left Romania achieving many things due to Vlad having our back.

The accommodations were nice and had beautiful scenery. The two that stood out that I loved was Ravens Nest and Transylvania Log Cabins.

Vlad's knowledge about the places and history is brilliant and as a person he is approachable and friendly. Would highly recommend Romania Thrills and will hopefully return to do another tour.

We did the Myths and Legends of Transylvania tour with Romanian Thrills and is by far the best travel experience I’ve ever had in my life. Georgiana and Vlad are very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Romania. It was called a tour but if felt like we were on holiday with close friends. We were really able enjoy the culture and fall in love with the country. I will definitely be booking more tours with them in the future when I go back to Romania. The tour included the knowledgeable Georgiana and Vlad as well as all amazing accommodations, breakfast and transportation. Georgiana went above and beyond to ensure we all had a wonderful trip. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Georgiana and Vlad from Romanian Thrills organized the perfect personalized trip for me and my friends that travelled from abroad for my wedding. They were extremely knowledge, open and friendly throughout the planning process.
I have shared with them only a rough idea of what we would like to do, budget and duration and they just made the magic happen! They offered us an amazing, personalized tour that included boutique accommodations, hidden gems of things to see and do, very hands-on experiences, absolutely delicious food …. and this is just to name a few of the things that were included!

As a Romanian myself, that has travelled quite a bit in the country I was extremely impressed by what they have put together – many experiences were extremely new for me as well (they really do know their hidden gems!).
Organization was spotless: extremely comfortable transportation was included, only the best accommodations and the nicest support throughout the trip. In fact, Vlad was with us the entire trip, never getting tired to help out, share anecdotes and jokes, answer all our questions and just taking really good care of us (even sharing surprise snacks and water).

I really could not recommend them enough to anyone that is looking for an unique way to discover Romania. 100% authentic, fun and worry free.

Highly recommended. From the start, Georgiana communicated closely to really understand and customise an itinerary to suit our likes, interests & schedule for our Brasov to Bucharest holiday. All guides were truly local to the area, which meant we got insights and introductions to local spots not listed in guide books. The flexibility to adapt the itinerary as we went along, impromptu stops (like the best home-made Gelato I’ve ever had, known only to locals), the passion for their craft, the love for their country and sharing not just local knowledge but also personal experiences, made the trip extra special.

They kept in constant touch with us from the time we boarded the train in Budapest, Hungary and were greeted right at the platform in Brasov, Romania. It was just us and our guide, on walks and drives to all the various cities, towns and villages, savouring artisanal produce including craft beers & Traditional foods; meeting locals and sharing tales from Brasov to Maros, Sighişoara, Prejmer, Prahova, Bran Castle, Snagov to Bucharest. Days trips out of Bucharest also took us to places I never heard of and would never have thought to explore, like Fulga De Jos, Buzău, lunch at Ferme Dacilor, Ilfov, from a private tour of the Police Museum in Târgovişte to a private wine tasting then wine blending workshop with the chief winemaker at Budureasca.

To think we fit all that in less than 2 weeks - Truly a memorable experience !

Honestly could not have asked for a better experience! This was my first trip to Romania and in 10 days, Vlad covered so much. He’s like a human encyclopedia but much friendlier and warmer. He was able to use his passion, his knowledge and his warmth to show me and my travel group some of the best and most authentic places possible. I don’t think I’ll ever do a Romanian tour with anyone else.

Amazing trip with Vlad! I ended up having a private tour, so it was more like a fun road trip with a good friend, a friend who is knowledgeable about history, mythology, and cuisine. In just a few days, we saw a lot of Romania. I recommend adding Vlad’s private city tour of Bucharest and definitely book the extra day. I will be booking with Romanian Thrills again in the future!
