Not only are the shirts overpriced but fibers started coming off within the first week. They only had one shirt available so I bought the one and ordered 4 more for a total of $143! They did not call me to tell me my order had been completed and they never answer the phone at the business. When I emailed them for an order status they said it supposedly went to spam. When I went to pick up the shirts that I paid for they had the audacity to tell me that I already picked up the other 3 which is a bold faced lie. They said they would look at the cameras but they weren't able to while I was there. Instead of being more apologetic, they were acting like I was lying and said they would look into it and get back to me. I asked when and the gentleman had the nerve to give me an indifferent "I don't know." I am so aggravated and offended and if I had a choice, I'd get a refund and never go back again, but they are the only vendor for my son's school. Do not go to this place unless they are the only vendor available to your institution. Horrible customer service, unprofessional, and overpriced! I'd give them zero stars if I could!

Edit: Still unhappy with the overall experience with Risse Brothers but the issue was swiftly resolved by David Connelly who is a great asset to the business. He provides amazing customer service and professionalism.

I am really disappointed in this store. Schools partner with them and so we have to buy from them but they can not provide good customer service. I have tried contacting the store by phone and email for almost three weeks on different days and times, no response. My sister went in person and they told her the order had already shipped and could not help her, although the order was placed the night before, that was 6 days ago. I received an email today stating the order had shipped but then another email stating your order is ready for pick up. It does not make any sense. Although it says the order is for pick up, they charged me shipping. It has all just been a mess.

The uniform business is not an easy peasy business to be in. But these guys have a large, well equipped store with lots of inventory, changing rooms, and systems that are sensitive to each and every schools' needs, as long as the schools communicate accurately what their needs are. That seems to be the issue with others complaining or giving low reviews about things. It's often not the store, but the school or administration or staff who are the cause of shortages, or inaccuracies. Think about what it takes to have school uniforms for 20–30 different schools on hand. Risse has always been great to deal with. And they give discounts to some staff members or administrators, depending on the school. They are responsive and helpful when needed. I will specifically mention David who helped on a recent issue (that was caused by a late change from our school, not from Risse). We have used two other uniform businesses in the past. None has even come close to the level of service and the resources and systems that Risse brothers offers. Highly recommended. G

I recently ordered my granddaughter uniforms for school. I had ordered one t-shirt a different size. I have never had a company call to make sure it was not a mistake. The gentleman that called was so nice and concerned that they get it right. I was very impressed with the time it took them to go over and beyond.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I have been forced to shop here for 3 years and every time it’s a headache. This summer, I’ve been 3 times. Every time, there were no skirts in my daughter’s size in stock and no polos. I was forced to order two different sizes online, wait for delivery and return the size that didn’t fit because there was no option to try these on in store.

Beyond this, the line is always MILES long to pay. The store is understaffed and the staff is not friendly or helpful. I’m hoping our school can transfer services to a different company at some point because the uniform purchasing process through this company is miserable.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! Walk in no one greets you! Try and get help women behind counter was on her phone texting or playing a game (who knows) and looked up and still didn’t ask to help me. I had to say can you help me? Then she got up reluctantly and acted irritated. She was rushing me the whole time. Then I asked about PE shorts and she said you have to ask one of us to get them for you and stared at me. I laughed and thought ok, you’re helping me right now so why don’t you get them. However, I literally had to say ok, so can you help me with that, she felt visibly foolish and I saw the lightbulb go off in her head and she said, yes. When she realized I was not going to give in to her absolute ignorance of customer service, she became more tolerant. I wasn’t finished with the order or checking out. I had a question about my sons shirts that I was ordering (they were on back order, day before school starts, really) Carrollwood Day School needs to find another place to get uniforms, this is the second year this has happened. I buy in bulk so I don’t have to come in because of my experience the first time. Also, let’s be honest the quality of clothing isn’t that great. Especially when strings are hanging from garments in the first month. Stay away from RISSE BROTHERS. I’m going to ask my friend who owns a print and embroidery shop if they can make them for me, so I don’t have to come back! #HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are ridiculous! They need a competitor. And for the amount of money people are spending they should have the decency to clean and renovate the bathrooms. They were filthy and unsanitary.

I went yesterday to the Tampa store, and the employees were very rude to us. They acted and spoke to us in a very condescending manner. They did not seem like they wanted to help us. The prices are extremely expensive. We had such a terrible experience! I wish we did not have to shop here.
