My daughter and I stopped her for the first time. The things we tried were absolutely fantastic. I had fried mushrooms. The serving was huge. They had a light batter on them and were delicious. The potato skins were also large and great. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were seasoned perfectly. The desserts are easily large enough to share. All were amazing. Our server was on top of things and very friendly. The star of the show has to be Candy. She made you feel welcomed and appreciated. This is going to the top of my list of places to go back to. There are so many options on the menu that I want to try.

I love this place. First time I have been here under new ownership. Fantastic place, wonderful staff and food was amazing! I had the twice baked lasagna with salad and bread Pudding with bourbon sauce for dessert. It was fantastic. Great place! Will definitely come back.

Not overly excited with as crowded as the place was. It was a Sunday after church and it was so crowded and noisy. Very slow service. Food pretty good. Expected a better atmosphere. Prices were very good for portions of servings. Despite the crowds, I would go back again

We love R'z Cafe. Food and service are always top notch. A few our favs are the Bourbon Bacon Pork Chop, Land and Sea Burger, Titan Burger, Loaded chips and the desserts are always amazing.

Editing to add some more pictures from our most recent visit. My cousin and his wife just moved back to town from the North Dakota/Montana area. They chose a spot in Haubstadt so of course we had to set a dinner night and take them to R'z. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had reservations for 7pm (thanks Dano) and got our table right away. As always, the server was off the charts and made sure we had everything we needed. Switched it up from our normal appetizers and went with the breaded mushrooms and the firecracker chips and dip. Both were phenomenal. The serving size of mushrooms was enough for all 4 of us and the firecracker dip was absolutely amazing. I had the Meatloaf Stack and the wife had the Chicken Florentine. Both dishes were very good and what we have come to expect dinning at R'z. My cousin had the all you can eat catfish and his wife had the Mahi Mahi. Sorry, no pics of those 2. They stated both dishes were very good and that the Mahi Mahi was best they have had. For dessert we went with Death by Chocolate and our diner partners went with Death by Peanut Butter. Both were very good and are basically our go to. Highly recommend checking out this hidden gem in Fort Branch. Worth the drive and the wait for a table.

First time eating dinner there was highly disappointing. I had the shrimp dinner and added pan roasted Brussels sprouts. I ordered one of their signature cocktails to drink. The Brussels sprouts were hard and tasted like they were microwaved and not pan roasted as indicated on the menu. I could not eat them. Not what I expected. The ‘golden’ drink was so watered down it tasted like I was drinking water. My friend ordered a signature drink also, hers was also watered down with no taste. My husband ordered all you can eat catfish. When he was finished with his plate, he waited for more that 15 minutes for our waitress to come back so he could request additional catfish. We drove 30 minutes and spent $100 for dinner & drinks for 2 people. We won’t be back.

Excellent food. My family got the Chicken Florentine, Shrimp Alfredo, and Low Country Shrimp with Fried Mushrooms and Fire Crackers as appetizers.
The Chicken Florentine was hands down favorite entree for the table. Very flavorful and the chicken was crispy. The Low Country Shrimp was a close second, but VERY rich. It was almost more of a dip should just be a scoop over grits instead of a bowl of soup. The Alfredo was delicious, but the sauce was extremely mild/milky.
The fried mushrooms were the favorite dish overall. They were fresh and not too bready.

We had the family style. The fried chicken was good the catfish really good but the mashed potatoes and green beans were great. They didn't use the proper dishes and did not have bowls for coleslaw, hot and cold items shouldn't be on the same plate. Desserts and beer were very expensive. The steaks look really good I'd like to try them sometime when I have money to burn. I heard it was very expensive for a steak. Lol

The mismatched chair I sat in was super loose. The alfredo was more like a soup with my shrimp drowned in it. The waitress messed up the tickets and never asked for a refill on drinks. The 80's music actually made it fun. Overall the $70 for two people to eat is way overpriced for the sub quality food and service that you could get anywhere else. Save your disappointment for somewhere else.
