Here’s my experience: it’s very evident the US Air Force only caters to Air Crew and Officers only. They treat low ranking enlisted who aren’t the previously mentioned like peons, pieces of dirt! Especially during PCS season. Please give me a valid reason why I go to the main hotel to check in on the BX side and all officers are chatting it up having a great time. While families like mine struggle to get to the BX and such and have to rent rental cars and take taxi’s for basic necessities to make it to PCS? While officers and aircrew simply take an elevator from their hotel and bam they are right there where everything is. Despicable!!! Especially when the TLF by the high school are at 21 degrees Celsius!!! These people program the floor heat to where you can’t turn it up on your own despite having a thermostat there? Crazy!!! The channels provided on AFN network only has National Geographic and news channels. How archaic. Beds are uncomfortable and you can tell cause your back hurts after sleeping in it. Overall the precedence has to be changed that families are at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to PCSing. Glad I’m getting out of here, Ramstein AB is terrible logistically and operationally in all facets. Base needs a lot of change to make it more palatable for enlisted to survive. *Drops mic* ? ?

The Air Force Inns are very clean and are equipped with everything you will need. The staff are friendly and clean your place every other day if you’d like. They also collect trash everyday. The place does not smell like dogs/cats. The Inns are located within walking distance of the commissary.

Not only is it messed up how much you charge for mediocre rooms, but the people who end up waiting for space a flights trying to rest definitely need to listen to the people at the front desk being loud like a bunch of drunk kids. Thanks for your considerate actions guys….smh

The room was a little rough. Expected for the pet-lodging though. One of our cats had a rough first night but got comfortable after that. During the whole CF that was outprocessing, the room was one of the least stressful parts.

If you are traveling with a pet I would not recommend

I stayed with them for 1 night for a total cost of $178 to include pet fees. When I check-in the staff the helped me was cold and just rushing me through. They handed me a map to get to the bldg where I would be staying but failed to mention that is right next to a school. So by the Time I actually found it school was being let out for kids. I couldn’t actually get to my building until they were done. When I got to the building, I mainly noticed that the outside was unkept, and it look like it used to be some type of dorm, which is not a problem. It just looks very unsightly on the outside. When I actually got to the room, it wasn’t really bad. It had an actual kennel in it and dog bowls but when I checked the bathroom, there is mold in the bathroom which I brought up to the staff already. I also contacted the staff about a late check out because of the flight times Difference to which I’ve quickly found out that they don’t offer, so just keep that in mind if you’re staying here and just plan accordingly. My overall experience here I would say I would not recommend if you could live or rent off post or a different establishment. I would definitely do it the only reason why I Stayed here was I thought it would be easier for myself and my pet while traveling. Oh, keep this in my anyone else’s staying here if you make any phone calls using the hotels phone even to call the front desk for Assistance they will charge you which I found out Quickly. For $178 1 night stay, was not worth it.

The actual hotel is very nice. They don’t tell you when you book the hotel there is a 50/50 chance you will be staying in barracks up to 10+ miles away with no ac. When I walked in my “hotel” it was actually 86 degrees

Price is ok, but people do not control their animals. Person next to us had a dog that NON. STOP. BARKS. Cannot get a house fast enough.
