I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the brunch cruise with City Cruises in Newport Beach, and it was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped aboard, the atmosphere was welcoming and elegant, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.

The brunch spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit every palate. From fresh fruits and pastries to savory, everything was delicious and well-prepared. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the service matched it perfectly. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to accommodate special requests.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a unique way to spend a Sunday morning, the City Cruises brunch is an excellent choice.

Never have I experienced such terrible service. The greeters were great, but our waitress was the very worst ever. We had to chase her down or ask a different server for water, drinks, and our order. We placed 1 drinks order with our waitress that we asked her about 2 times in 30 min. Finally we just went to the bar and ordered our drinks to go with our dinner. We had to order all our drinks and refills from the bar ourselves, because we could not get service. Then the funny part is she tried to charge us for the drinks that I had to go buy at the bar. I've never seen such a lost waitress. Our food was served separately so I had to wait for my wife to get her food so we could actually enjoy dinner together. $441 for dinner for 2 definitely not worth it. Not with this service. Food was good ill give the chef that.
Also I do not know why they market this as a romantic dinner, with a dj who plays setting music. But it should be marketed as a floating wannabe club with dinner. The music ruined the romantic setting. I didn't expect to hear rap music at a romantic dinner cruise.

SO MUCH FUN!! we had a blast on the brunch cruise. I was really surprised at how nice the boat was. Super clean and pretty. The staff and service was outstanding. When they say bottomless mimosas they are not messing around. Our server Andre made sure our champagne glass was always full, no matter where we were on the boat he would show up like magic filling those glasses. The food was surprisingly great, I expected a boring buffet but everything was so fresh and tasty. Lots of choices with something for everyone. The cruise was just long enough, plenty of time to eat and drink and enjoy the ship, but not too long so that people were getting sloppy drunk. It was totally worth every penny, and we will totally go again next time we visit Newport. It was the highlight of our trip. Even our local family thought it was a blast.

Very nice sunset cruise. We did a business event buffett dinner with full bar. Nice boat with top deck for dinner and bottom deck fir entertainment. Personnel very friendly and attentive. Great views of Island and harbor.

This was an amazing criuse. We were greeted with champagne, the food was delicious, the bartenders were on point, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Early views before the party got started were eqsuisite, and even in the midst of the party the houses decked out holiday style were not to be missed. I would definitely recomend sailing with them!

Well I was here for a work meeting to kick off the new year and it was godd! It was a 3 hour cruise around the harbor. Even if it was a work event you can't go wrong with free food and a free Open bar! Oh yea!

The food was buffet style and it was like a trip around the world but there were mostly pasta dishes. The offered Prime Rib but everyone doesn't eat beef.

The bar...Their was a bar on two out of the three levels of the bar! We were greeted with champagne on our first arrival and the liquor was top shelf.

It was ok, for some reason I liked the Newport Beach one over all, this seemed like an older boat that was less maintained.

First class atmosphere, food, drinks & service. A very romantic way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or to impress that special person. However, I was a little bothered by the $35 "service fee" (built in tip) when booking the cruise & more bothered when I couldn't get an explanation about what the fee was for when I called, but I figured it out when I read the small print on my email receipt. Have to admit that the service & excellent food were worth it & ended up leaving an additional tip, just wish I would've been told about it upfront when I called to book.
My only suggestion would be perhaps playing different types of music on the 2 different decks. 1 deck with softer type music & 1 deck with dance music for those who want dance off that delicious 5 course meal. The DJ is good, goes around & introduces himself to eveyone and takes requests. Overall a good experience that I'd highly recommend
