I had been going to Dr Teston for many years & she was the glue that held me together. Her family was very lucky to have her in their lives & I thank God every day for everything she did for me! she’s with God now, RIP

I cant believe that I'm writing a review on my doctor and friend for almost 20 years Dr Teston has passed away. I dont like writing reviews because they get to busy and forget about me..lOL. Dr.Teston was a wonderful doctor and always went far and beyond for her patients.She is and will be missed in our community.

I've been a patient for over a year now. She's very sweet and thorough in the first session. I was able to tell her my previous experiences with medications, and she helped me find a better fit. It definitely helped to know that some medications won't show full effect for 3-6mo, and I tracked my symptoms between visits. Since I was an established patient, I was able to get an appt for refills within a week and a half.

I honestly cannot stand psychiatrists who act like Dr. Teston and think its okay because they work with people who have mental illness.
I have had an issue with her every single time I refill my medicine. She just flat out won't do it until I remind her. Shame she doesnt actually answer the phone, so I guess I just wont get my medicine until she randomly remembers that that's what I pay her to do.
She is the rudest doctor I've ever met. She is accusatory and uncaring. If youre running late to your appointment, dont even bother showing up, because no matter what you do, she will mark you as a no-show and charge you $60 for it.
I honestly cant believe i waited 8 months to see her, and continued to see her for a year. I would much rather drive an hour and a half to tampa or Orlando than see her again.

This amazing woman saved my life. She is as sweet as they come and I highly recommend her to anyone that needs help. I'm honestly not sure where the negative reviews come from. She got me on the right medication and off the wrong ones. Life has never been better.

I see the ugly reviews on Dr. Teston and if you cancel your appointment with her how can she treat you? You got to go to get the care you need and what is wrong with her using her computer? Geez that's harsh people! And I guess you are not familiar what is the duty of Psychiatry doctors they are not there to counsel with you they are there treat the problem and send you on your way. If you need to speak with someone get to a therapist. Dr. Teston was always a great doctor to my daughter she listen to us and I felt very confident in what she had my daughter on. If there was any problem with the medication she was the first to change and try others.

It took a lot in me to decide to finally say something and post. I have been seeing dr. Teston for 16 years. Over the last 2 years I have literally dreaded going into every single visit. I went today to dr. Curtis Cassidy and for the first time in a year I feel hopeful and I can't believe I put up with it for so long. You should never dread going to your psychiatrist you should never feel treated like a criminal or a drug addict. She did not allow me to make choices in my Healthcare but rather made them for me. My best interest was not at heart. For the first time in years after my new appointment today with dr. Cassidy I can finally see how blessed I am to have gotten out when I did. She nearly ruined my life. She almost forced me into detox several times deciding to remove my Xanax on her own agenda after zero abuse and zero early fills. After the death of her son and her husband's Health declining she is no longer rational and it's sad to say she should not be in practice. I am so thankful I finally have help with my future! My biggest stress every month will no longer be going to this psychiatrist.
