Don is a fantastic tour guide! This was our second tour with him and it was just as amazing. This was the Bensonhurst food tour . He’s completely prepared, well-informed and provided a thoughtful tour. He knew all the owners of the establishments which made everything feel special. Not to mention the food was amazing! I was in Brooklyn last weekend and did two tours with Dom. The Taste of Bensonhurst and The Coney Island Tour. Dom is dedicated to providing well researched history along with his passionate love for his beloved Brooklyn. The time spent on the food tour of Bensonhurst was informative, FLAVORFUL and not rushed at all. The personal touch with the business owners was an incredible experience that I, my sisters and friends thoroughly enjoyed.
The Coney Island Tour is a definite must for anyone interested in the history and back stories that make up this fabulous amusement park. Having a Coney Island dog at Nathan's was also a bonus at this time honored hot dog stand.
All in all, Made in Brooklyn tours are days well spent if you ever are in Brooklyn and would like an adventure unlike any other.

Dom is super professional and knowledge. He is also very friendly and care a lot about his customers. He makes the story fun and enjoyable. He knows the brooklyn community very well as well as all small business owners in the neighborhood. If you want to explore dumbo Brooklyn, this tour is highly recommended!

We explored the history and current events of Brooklyn's DUMBO and Dom was a great tour guide, very personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you are interested in learning about the city as a local or visitor alike. We visited several businesses (e.g. Saori - Japanese Weaving and CAM's art studio) and Dom has many acquaintances in the area, with free chocolate and ice cream sampling. While visitations depend on who is available, I though the tour was great value and enjoyable!

There are not many tours of New York City quite like Made In Brooklyn. The DUMBO tour was a true masterpiece of what a great new yorker can reveal about the history, culture, and people of every nook and cranny of this great city. Never a dull moment on the tour, if you want to meet some great people, learn fascinating history, and hang out with a guy as great as Dom, this is the place for you. Thanks for the great day Dom!

We had such a fun time visiting Dumbo on this tour! From browsing small businesses to meeting local artists, there was never a dull moment. The true highlight was seeing the network Dom has built over the years with Dumbo locals, and how special each one made us feel. Dom’s passion for storytelling also made the history of the neighborhood that much more fascinating! We can’t wait to join another one.

This is our 4th tour with Dom the owner and guide of Made in Brooklyn Tours, and it was like meeting up with an old friend again, a friend who knows the Brooklyn neighborhoods inside and out. For this one, we went on the Industry City tour and visited four very different businesses and got a great taste, both literally and figuratively, of the history and diversity of activity in the area. They included a chocolate company, whiskey maker, stained glass restorer and soap maker. What most impresses us about these tours is the deep pride and love that Dom has for Brooklyn and for those who are being creative, working hard and sacrificing to succeed in making it there. Always highly recommended!
