I am feeling bad to write such a review for such a wonderful doctor and a person.Unfortunately I am moving to another doctor just because of his poor staff ( specially after covid). They have the worst billing team and after covid the worst staff ( I guess only one person is there now). The only good thing about that place is Dr. Reiss himself so if you can tolerate a worst billing team and a weird staff member please go ahead. His office called my husband after 11 months of blood test to "discuss that" 😀

This doctor needs to retire because he has mentally checked out and is a liability for the health of his patients. He says the same script to you no matter your age (have compared what recommendations he's given to other family members and it's almost the same).

No one picks up the phone and when they do, they're rude. Called to confirm a medical appt and when we shared that the patient was in the ER just said "ok" and hung up! Didn't even bother to ask why or the doctor ever call to see what happened to his patient. So terribly disappointed. He may have been good in the past but everything has rapidly declined in care, communication, and office management.

Very friendly and kind physician. He is thorough, takes his time, never makes you feel rushed and offers good advice, treatment and necessary lab work. He makes sure that insurance will cover whatever is necessary so I feel secure that I will have the right diagnosis. I highly recommend him. It is hard to find small independent offices that are not being bought out by big health systems these days where you can become a number. It's a 1 doc shop and you are treated as the patient.

Dr. Reiss is an excellent doctor. I've been going to him for over 25 years. He is easy to talk too and takes his time and answers any questions I may have. He doesn't rush you in and out like many doctors do. He is a compassionate doc and truly enjoys what he does. Thumbs up!

It was apparent from my first and only visit that he was only after insurance money and not the patient’s care, (me). He requested blood work and wanted me to see a specialist because I had some redness in my eye. I have seen a specialist before and have a known, easily treatable and mild case of rare eye disease. The doctor wasn’t having it, he said it was a requirement for a new patient. I was there for a different purpose altogether. After refusing to do blood work, he sent me on my way and told me to never come back. IF the bloodwork was truly medically necessary, he would have say me down to explain it to me as a medical professional. There was nothing professional about this guy. Would strongly recommend against going here.

I've lived in Hillsborough since 1986, I have had only 2 doctors that whole time, both great. Doctor Reiss is one of the most caring physicians I have ever met. I highly recommend him to friends and family.

Absolute WORST doctor in the area. Good luck scheduling an appointment - the "answering service" is RUDE and will NEVER call you back. Try scheduling a visit online - they will call and cancel or ask you to call back and NEVER PICK UP. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment - you can enjoy the very dated facility and a VERY LONG wait time. Find another doctor and don't waste your time.
